Scott Brown Pimps Out His Daughters

First let me disclose that I voted for Scott Brown in the Special Senate Race here in Massachusetts yesterday. I eagerly awaited his victory speech last night, but found some of it cringe-worthy. Take this moment:



That's his younger daughter, Ayla, who I have circled in red, reacting to Scott's proclamation that "Just in case anybody who's watching throughout the country, yes, they're both available." You can see his wife has a WTF?! expression on her face.

After the crowd kind of laughed nervously, he muttered, "Only kidding, only kidding. Arianna definitely is not available, but Ayla DEFINITELY is." His wife then shrieked to him, "Stop!" Then he took Ayla's arm and kind of presented it to the crowd making sure they knew who was the available one.

He recovered after that, and Ayla noticeably forgave him. The next time he went off script, he fist-bumped Doug Flutie and comedian Lenny Clarke during the USA! chants after making saying "Our tax dollars should pay for weapons to stop them [terrorists], and not lawyeres to defend them!"

So, it was a fun speech, but I found Scott Brown a bit shrill and giddy. Kind of drunk on victory. I know he's a hard worker, and I align nicely with his moderate social policies, but conservative fiscal and militay policies.
